Steer Madness!

This is so neat! A video game in which the objective is to rescue animals! My laptop barely meets the minimum system requirements and may be lacking a bit on video ram… Perhaps I will support the company and give it a try, it looks like alot of fun! Check out the trailer.

A Cow On A Mission!
Bryce is a cow on a mission to save the animals! Join him on his adventures as he rescues rabbits, delivers soymilk, protests against fur, changes advertisements, and much, much more!

This morning I got caught up on alot of chores and such. Afterwards we hiked out to Aurora to get a few extra dining placemats and stopped at Oldnavy too. Stephanie saw a commercial advertising fleeces for ten bucks, but the store we went to was fresh out of stock. We then came to pickup Iris and take her to the dog park. I gave in to her ball obsession and bought her a Chuck It. She is so in love with it! Finally we can toss the ball sufficiently far and for a long enough duration of time to keep her happy. Despite playing ball for over an hour, we came home and she headed to the yard for some more. The dog is insane!

This past week we had our final security door installed. Thanks to a hefty tax refund, we were able to afford to have the front security door installed. Here it is, outside view and inside view

Tonight I will be working on some homework. First the required textbook reading and end of chapter case study questions, then something a bit more interesting. Our professor gave us an assignment to write up a short paper and give a presentation on an article of our choice. I chose to write about Folksonomies, a concept implemented on furl.net and del.icio.us. Also know as tagging and social bookmarks, this has definitely caught my interest and provides a useful mechanism for organizing information.
