Ticket to ride

Tonight we took Amelia for her first bike ride. We’ve been meaning to get a bike trailer for a while now and watched Craigslist for the past few days until a deal came our way. We trekked out to Thornton to pick the trailer up and drove on the highway with it bungeed in our trunk. I got home from work this evening eager to take it out for a spin. We rode roughly 2 miles around the neighborhood and Amelia seemed to enjoy it.

When we got home, Amelia was in a great mood and being a little chatterbox. She helped us corral Iris and told her to go “owshide” and also said “bike” when asked if she enjoyed the ride.

We’re going to go for another ride tomorrow and likely take it for a spin to the Park Hill library this weekend and stop for coffee at Perk Hill. I wish we got a trailer sooner!
