Finally rode a Segway!Posted In: Travel, Everyday life — July 19, 2008 @ 11:02 pm — PeterI recall all the hype around the “revolutionary” Segway personal transport device prior to its release. Riding one has always been on my todo list, but the opportunity has never come up. Today at the Royal Gorge Bridge, there was a guy with a collection of 5 or so Segways. For the small fee of $5 bucks, you get a brief lesson and time to zip around the patio area of the park. Yippe! It was a blast!

Yes, it is off road friendly. Also, I got to try one that has a different steering mechanism, more natural that leans with your body. I’d love to have one of my own!
